Had a great evening. After a meeting in Junglehut - so much the guests had not determined for years - it was time to change the location. Well done from the hotel and a German-Canadian-Indian party entry.
Laughed a lot, next geek-talk and a lot of layer 8 (partly layer 9) enjoyed. At some point - we just have puzzled over the Notwendikeit of earplugs - came to the hotel people and said we should be quiet. Our range of ear plugs, he politely declined ![]()
A little later - break - we were trapped. So make noise again until someone let out the party room ![]()
In short, the evening was nice and long - and the morning would be soon. And he was. DC went early to the anniversary of the Tibetan school, a lot was going on, but I was all a bit reminiscent grouped into eastern school appeal. The Dalai Lama has spoken, in the opinion of some, it went well for peace in Tibet and the suitability of olsr for community networks. He has expressed great appreciation, if I've translated correctly.
Then traditional lunch - eat with your hands - and the keynotes. First, a representative of the school, which was almost the best. Really good. What, however, the contributions of NEM and government officials should have to do community-networks by a Professor from Ireland with was not clear.
Then it was funny, Richard Stallman (GNU / GPL / FSF) NEN talk about, clearly, the importance of free software has kept. Super post, not quite fit the theme of the conference but for all those who had not experienced it yet impressive. As might be expected, an impressive plea for the exclusive use of free software and GNU + Linux.
Finally, Dave Hughes. Some eye-catching projects vorrgestellt WiFi, but the outcome still clearly shown that he is a fucking militarist. Has he fought in Korea, there's something stuck.
Then went to Hugo and Tracy from Canada to Daramkot, and eagerly discussed Stallman Thsen. In the dark the way to the Jungle was looking for, lost, regained, lost again and then it arrived.
Very interesting evening talks had taken NEN type of NEM College Kereala, I'll visit some time in December. And maybe build a mesh, super.
When we wanted to go, Stallman came around, that is still babble on about him and had NEN evening, which was again nice, but way too long.
